In most cases carpets dry in 3 to four hours.
This depends on the humidity, temperature of the business and how badly soiled the carpets are.
It also depends on the carpet cleaning method used. If we are using our low moisture cleaning, then usually one hour.
Our technician will stay as long as it takes to complete the job to your satisfaction.
A study of indoor air quality pointed out that 90% of all the pollutants in the average home are found in the carpet.
So, yes, with the removal of those pollutants our green carpet cleaning system will help with your allergies.

No. Although our process rinses the carpet deep down, moisture does not penetrate the backing of the carpet.

No. In fact, many of the major carpet mills today recommend professional cleaning at least once per year.
The buildup of soil in your carpet in combination with foot traffic creates abrasion that breaks down your carpet’s fibers.
The higher the traffic in a given area, the more often the carpet will need cleaning.
In 1992, representatives from the carpet manufacturing industry, the carpet cleaning industry, and the federal government all agreed upon a common set of standards.
These standards are now referred to as the CRI standards, which include:
1. Pre-Vacuum
2. Pre-treat spots, stains and heavily soiled areas
3. Hot Water Extraction
4. A thorough rinse
5. Furniture Moving
6. Complete Drying within 24 hours

Spot – is any foreign material (soil, liquid, etc.) that is removable by standard cleaning methods. The foreign material is on or around the carpet fibre.
Stain – is foreign substance (soil, liquid, etc.) on the carpet that cannot be removed by normal cleaning methods. This foreign material has penetrated or “soaked into” the fibre and has altered the colour or damaged the fibre such as Kool Aid.
Some stains may be impossible to remove. But if they can be removed, be assured that Green Carpet Cleaners’ certified technicians will remove them.
Dark lines that appear on light coloured carpets is called filtration soiling. It comes from air passing through the crack between the carpet and the baseboard or under a closed door.
This occurs over a significant period of time and is not noticed until a buildup has occurred.
This type of soiling is difficult to remove because the soil particles are so fine, that they penetrate deep into the carpet pile, and sometimes into the backing of the carpet.
Can it be removed? Sometimes. With special products, time and effort, reasonable results may be achieved.
To help prevent filtration soiling, vacuum and wipe the edges of the carpeting on a regular basis. Be careful around the tack strip on the edge of the carpeting, it could nick your hand or your fingers.
